What are double buckles used for?
They are most commonly used for making adjustable bag handles, bag straps, or collars. Narrower versions are also suitable for crafting elegant women’s belts.
Why don't double buckles need a separate keeper loop?
Double buckles feature a central bar and an integrated tongue, which acts as a built-in keeper. This makes them quicker and easier to attach without sewing an extra loop.
How is the strap secured in a double buckle?
The strap passes through the tongue and wraps around the central bar of the buckle, allowing for secure and adjustable fastening.
What does the buckle size refer to?
Buckle size always refers to the inner width – the space where the strap fits. To choose the right size, measure the strap width in millimeters.
What finishes are available?
Our double buckles come in nickel (silver), gold, antique copper, and black finishes, so you can easily match them with other bag hardware components.
Center bar buckles feature a central bar, which eliminates the need for a separate keeper loop – offering a simple and practical fastening solution for bags, bag straps, or collars.
